It's a...

Lora and Jonathan are expecting a baby in early January and they found out what they were having a few weeks ago. They went and had the sonogram on a Thursday, but they told the sonogram tech not to tell them what it was and to just write it on a piece of paper and put it in a sealed envelope because they wanted to be surprised and find out at the same time as everyone else at their "reveal party" on Saturday. They had everyone wear pink or purple if they thought it was a girl and blue if they thought it was a boy. I wore pink and Nick and Clayton wore blue. :)

Before they opened the envelope, Barb wanted to do an old wive's tale test where you hang a needle from a string and hold the string over Lora's belly. If the string moved around, then it was supposed to be a girl.

We got mixed signals from the test because we think the fan may have been causing the string to move...it was fun, nonetheless!

We were all so anxious when they opened the envelope and were so excited to find out they were having a boy! I am so excited that Clayton will have a little boy cousin so close in age. I know they will be great buds!
